    Job description:

    Continuous and proactive monitor the intelligent traffic systems (both in-station and out-station) to ensure smooth traffic flow.
    Monitor traffic flow via DDS screens or in-station systems (SCOOT / FALCON / SCADA).
    Take appropriate action in the event of a road traffic accident by coordinating with the Police, the rapid response units, maintenance, changing the dynamic message signs (DMS) to divert traffic and continue monitoring until the end.
    Take appropriate action using in-station controls together with DMS signs and CCTV cameras as well as the tunnel control systems to manage traffic events (such as congestion, or vehicle breakdown) and ease traffic flow.
    Coordinate with external stakeholders (Dubai Police, Civil Defense etc) with matter regarding road traffic accidents in order for them to take appropriate action.
    Coordinate with security (e.g. Dubai Police) in the event of something out of the ordinary occurring such as: Motorcycles driving against traffic, pedestrians crossing the road dangerously, illegal usage of emergency doors in the tunnel, illegal usage or opening of the FIRE HOUSE CABINATE, graffiti etc.
    Ensure the data in the Dalili system is updated when there has been an effect to normal traffic conditions causing a change to journey times.
    Record and update any event or Incident in near real time, in the appropriate system.
    Document incidents on the VDR system and relay to appropriate personnel with coordination with the management.
    Monitor the water level in the tunnel water tanks and drain extra water when full.
    Monitor lighting level during the day at the entrance, exit and middle of the tunnel.
    Ensure the temperature in the airport tunnel is stabilized and all fire pumps are on Stand By should they need to be used in emergencies.
    Test the Jet Fans in the airport tunnel using the SCADA system to ensure they are working according to the condition of the air.
    Perform other responsibilities related to the position as appropriate
